Our Worship team exists to glorify Jesus Christ and share His love through music, creativity, and community. We are committed to mentoring one another so that each member grows in faith, skill, and confidence. We embrace learning new technologies and developing fresh expressions of Worship, knowing that we are called not to stand still but to continually grow in excellence and passion. Together, we encourage and uplift each other, writing songs that reflect the heart of God and lead His people into deeper encounters with His presence.
Wirral Filling Station is blessed that we have a group of mighty worshippers, on fire for God and devoted to lifting His name high. Coming together from a variety of churches across Merseyside, we unite with one heart and one purpose: to glorify Jesus and lead others into His presence through passionate, Spirit-filled worship. Our music is more than a sound—it is a declaration of God’s love and power, a call for revival, and a reminder of the hope found in Christ alone.
With a deep desire to build up the body of Christ, the band are committed to mentoring and encouraging others, especially younger Christians who are stepping into their faith journey. We believe in working as one—different backgrounds, different churches, yet one family in Christ—demonstrating the strength and beauty of unity in worship. Together, we seek not only to inspire but also to equip the next generation to rise up, serve boldly, and burn brightly for the King of Kings.

Our PA/sound team is passionate about glorifying Jesus through creativity and a heart of service. We embrace new technology—partnering closely with our Worship team—to create an atmosphere where people can encounter God without distraction. Always seeking growth, we are committed to mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and encouraging one another so that both seasoned and new members can thrive. By staying open to innovation and continually improving what we do, we aim to reflect God’s excellence in every detail while keeping love, humility, and worship at the centre.

We’re a Worship and Tech family passionate about using every tool we can to point people to Jesus. Whether it’s Ableton Live and ProPresenter to lights, video, and sound, we believe technology is a gift to help us worship with excellence and create moments that last. We’re always learning, experimenting, and pushing forward — recording our events, building content for Instagram and our website, and finding fresh ways to share the Gospel through creativity.
At the heart of it all, we’re mentors and encouragers. We love training others, raising up new leaders, and giving people the chance to grow in both worship and tech. Whether you’re running tracks, mixing sound, designing lighting, or posting online, you’re part of the mission. Together, we’re building a team that embraces change, pursues excellence, and uses technology to amplify the love of Jesus.

We are blessed to have several songwriters within our team, and we are passionate about using our gifts to glorify God while mentoring others—especially younger Christians. We believe that God has put a song into every heart, and we want to encourage and create space for new ideas and fresh expressions of worship, so that together we can grow in faith, inspire one another, and share the love of Jesus through music.

At Wirral Filling Station, we value everyone (especially younger people) stepping into assistant roles as an important part of the team’s life and growth. We believe in encouraging and mentoring each person, helping them develop in both faith and practical skills. Assistants play a vital part in serving—whether it’s checking batteries on microphones, running new cables, making sure the band has water, or supporting in many other practical ways—while gradually learning the main responsibilities of the team and growing into greater areas of service and leadership.
